Dale’s Surgery Fund

It’s embarrassing having to ask for help, but I’m in desperate need of it. As some of you may know, my sweet baby Dale is my pride and Joy. He is a rescue that was left in a cardboard box on the door step of a local pet store, when I met him I fell in love. I’ve had him for about 3 years now, and he’s had a recurring abscess on his chin that has had several exotic vet visits and racked up some medical bills. It’s been okay for a while, but something was different this time. The abscess got so big it broke his jaw, and will now need surgery. He has to have blood work done, go under anesthesia, repair his broken jaw, clean out the abscess, have the infection sent off to a lab to make sure it isn’t cancerous and try and find out exactly what it is so this won’t happen again, injections after surgery, pain meds, and antibiotics. Since we’ve moved to Houma, I’ve struggled finding a job. I’ve applied at up to 4 places everyday, full time, part time, and seasonal, but I have yet to be able to get a job here. I’m not on unemployment. I have no money coming in right now other than what I’m getting from selling my personal belongings. I am someone who has always extended a hand to help others, and I’m hoping this time you will be able to help me.
