Pinkerton Spinal Surgery Fund for Sarah & Paul

While out playing catch in Alta Vista park, the beloved Pinkerton’s path crossed with a much larger dog traveling at high speed. The ensuing collision resulted in a traumatic back injury to Pinkerton leaving his back legs paralyzed and requiring a $20,000 overnight emergency room and surgery visit to the vet to repair his spine. Pinkerton had his surgery on Friday (May 22nd) and is on the mend but has lots of hard work and recovery ahead of him.

With the love and care of Sarah and Paul, we know he’ll get through it but it also means the cost of this incident will grow. 

This is awful in the best of times but with the current pandemic canceling all mass gatherings, Sarah has been effectively put out of work as an orchestra conductor and Paul is still building his client base as an independent advisor. Pinkerton is considered part of the family and we’re setting up this GoFundMe campaign to try to help alleviate some of the financial burden that’s falling on them due to this terrible accident.

Pinkerton is a special guy and has traveled with Sarah for many years. Moreover, with the cost of this surgery, this is a devastating blow to a family that has already been hit by the impacts of COVID-19. Sarah simply doesn’t know when she will be able to work again. All of her shows have been cancelled in the foreseeable future.

Sarah, Paul and Pinkerton bring so much joy to the world with who they are and what they do and are always willing to share and lend a hand to anyone in need.
