Six workers from Serbia lost their lives in a fire, among my uncle ČEDO BOGUNOVIC.
CEDO BOGUNOVIC was a hard working man, a man whom wanted to provide for his family. He knew that his homeland, Serbia, couldn't provide for his needs nor, most importantly, his families needs.
He ended up leaving to the cold Russian province , Siberia to seek work where he ended up getting a job. The workers have been known to work up for 12 hour days for only $40.
Although, the income wasn't much, it was better than nothing since it helped his loved ones get by.
On Febuary 7, 2014 Cedo Bogunovic, along with 5 other men died in a fire caused by malfunctioning wiring.
Cedo Bogunovic leaves a wife and son.
His son was reported saying, "I lost everything, I lost my best friend, my father."
The goal of this donation is to help Čedo's family have at least some money for funeral costs. His family is now left to fend on their own.
Čedo's family lives in Serbia where jobs aren't so abundance and if you do get a job you're paid barely enough to survive. Although money cannot replace the pain they have in their hearts from losing their loved one, i'm sure some money will help them reduce the stress for funeral costs.
