Malawi Missions Trip

In February of 2019 we received notification that we would no longer be sponsoring Frank, the child that we had sponsored for 14 years, but that we would have another child to sponsor, Mike, in the same African country of Malawi. We were happy to sponsor Frank, but regrettably, he had become an afterthought. Realizing that our opportunity to write and to visit and to share life with this young man had passed us by, we didn’t want to make this same mistake with Mike. We have decided to go and meet this young man. 

 We have been accepted to serve with Action International Ministries in the city of Ntcheu and the surrounding villages. In Malawi, January-April are called “the starving months” because of drought related famine. In March, we will help with Action’s feeding programs. We will then travel to the small, rural village of Mutchenda Greenfield to meet Mike and his family and see the community’s water sanitation and hygiene projects. We are so honored and humbled to have the privilege of serving the people of Malawi.
