Buying Bubba

On March 15th our darling son and brother Tom will celebrate his 30th birthday.
Lots of people have been asking us what to buy Tom for his 30th birthday. Up until recently, we've found it really hard to think of anything, because right now Tom is very limited in what he can do and he is getting set to start new treatment.
Then after seeing Tom with a dog recently, we had a big idea. What if we all pitch in and buy Tom a dog as a gigantic 30th birthday surprise? We think the unconditional love and constant company is just what he needs right now.
We set about researching the perfect dog for Tom and have found "Bubba" a 11 week old mini-schnauzer. We think she is the perfect little lady for Tom.
We have set up a go-fund me page, so that if you would like to contribute to the purchase of Bubba ($1800.00) you can. If we exceed our fundraising goal, we will put it in an account for Bubba to cover pet insurance, food and vet bills so Tom doesn't have to worry about it.
There is obviously absolutely no pressure, but if you would like to contribute anything at all, we will make sure your name is included on a giant card, which we will give to Tom when we give him Bubba. If you have a specific message you'd like written in the card, please just put this in the comment section with your donation.
Please remember this is a surprise, so don't mention it to Tom. It also means you can't share this page on Facebook or Twitter. We will keep you all posted on Bubba's expected arrival and post pictures when she does.
