Makayla, my sister, is currently in the hospital battling both measles and pneumonia. Because she has no immune system, her situation is much more severe than it would be for most people. Watching her go through this has been incredibly hard for our family, and we are doing everything we can to support her as she fights to recover. 
 
The costs of traveling to the hospital, paying for meals, and covering other daily necessities are adding up quickly. Our family is doing our best to stay by Makayla’s side, but the financial strain is becoming overwhelming. We want to make sure she has everything she needs to focus on healing, without worrying about these extra burdens.
