Send Ant Pruitt to Google I/O

This is Ant Pruitt, and he is one of the hardest working people I know.  Some people call it a day after working their Nine-to-Fiver…..

Not Ant...when he gets home he starts his second career (and passion) as a technology writer, podcaster, content producer and community builder. He does amazing work. On top of that, he is one of the nicest people I've met, and is a no-nonsense, work-hard, be-responsible, always generous type a guy.

Last year Ant travelled to California to attend Google I/O, hoping to get press credentials. Unfortunately he was not able to get the credentials and was not able to attend due to the high entry fee ($1000).

This year Ant is planning to fly out again and plans to pay the entry fee out of his own pocket if he can't get credentialed. We won't let that happen!

This $1500 will cover his entry fee to the conference and some hotel and food expenses.  Any extra money above and beyond will be put in a fund to sponsor someone for next year's conference.
