Bill's Medical Expense Fund

It’s not easy to ask for help, but I am asking for donations to help my best friend and her family as her husband Bill fights Acute Myeloid Leukemia.  Three weeks ago Bill entered the hospital to receive antibiotics to fight an infection in his neck for 3 days.  On his second day in the hospital he learned he has Acute Myeloid Leukemia.  Of course it came as total shock to Bill, his wife Kathy and their 6 children.  Bill has been receiving chemo treatment and medication to bring back his immune system and during his second week of treatment learned that he is in need of a bone marrow transplant.  Currently Bill has a few more weeks of being in the hospital and then will receive treatments at home for 3 weeks, then returns to the hospital for another week of chemo.  This regiment will continue until Bill receives a bone marrow transplant in the spring at another hospital.  Bill has a long road ahead of him and with the hospital bills, co-pays for visiting nurse treatments, blood tests and the bone marrow transplant itself, Bill and Kathy are looking at extensive out of pocket costs that the average family can not afford.  I hope that in your hearts you find it possible to donate what you can to assist a great family and ease the financial burden their about to face.
