My name is Shannon Monet, and I’m speaking up for my mom, Regina, and my little brother.

For the past nine years, my mom has been the rock of our family. For years, that worked. We weren’t part of the court system because it wasn’t necessary.

But everything changed recently.

Our family has always been close, and my mom has done everything she could to give us a loving, stable home. For nearly a year now, we’ve been stuck in legal battle over my 10-year-old brother. It’s been emotionally exhausting and incredibly hard on all of us.

It’s been motion after motion, with legal fees piling up. .

As his sister, that absolutely breaks my heart. And for my mom, I know it’s terrifying.

But, every time she thinks things are getting better, another motion is filed, and we’re hit with more legal fees. It’s becoming almost impossible to keep up with court costs while still providing for my brother and I, While along helping me prepare for college and move to another state.

We’re asking for help to cover the legal and unexpected expenses so my mom can continue fighting for what’s right- for the future of our family. Every bit of support brings us one step closer to peace, stability, and healing.

Money will go toward legal counsel and other expenses that have accumulated.
