Superheroes need help too!!

Hiya! Our names are Christina and Peyton and we'd like to just jump right into what we are reaching out for! We come from a very proud family, one that's taught us if we want something we go get it ourselves. Hand-outs don't usually happen in life so depending on others to get us what we want isn't how we live ours; however, we have also learned that asking for help can be a necessity especially in times like this.

Our mother, Denise, has recently been re-diagnosed with lung cancer. She beat it five years ago and we are all praying for the same outcome this time!! As most are aware, chemo treatments are not cheap and we are unsure if one script of the medications needed will even be enough at this point in time. (We won't know if she will need more till we see how she responds to the first set). Insurance covers a good portion of it but, sadly, not the entire cost. We are awaiting approvals of financial support for the co-pays, but waiting just prolongs the time she could start taking it and that's if we even get the approval (fingers crossed). Hence, our efforts in fundraising!

Our mom is the strongest, most incredible woman we know and deserves nothing but the best including more TIME TO LIVE HER LIFE. She still has so much to see, do and be apart of. Her time isn't up yet. Not even close and her family certainly won't alllow it!

These funds will help us with medications, travel expenses to get to and from her doctors and if any is remaining it will go toward whatever else our parents may need to make their lives just a little bit easier in these trying times. With all that said, we humble ourselves a great deal to ask for this kind of help, but we'd do anything for our mother and our family especially if it will help minimize their stress level and allow her to solely focus on healing.

The format here asks for a funding goal so we put an amount that would at least cover the one medication; however, a little or a lot, anything and everything will make a difference right now! So, please, it won't go unappreciated!!
