Michele's Lifestyle Fund

Hello! I am Michele V.  When I was 16 I was in a life changing car accident.  I suffered a dramatic brain injury, I was in a coma for nine months and lost the use of one hand and one leg.  I have been wheelchair bound ever since.  

I live on my own with the help of an aide.  My parents have always lived in an apartment building right next to mine.  Now I am 56 and have experienced changes to my life because  my parents can't care for me as they once did.   Nobody is getting any younger!  :)

The only source of funds I have ever had have been state-driven, which has never allowed me to live my life  to it's fullest.  My friends started this fund for me and are writing this on my behalf.  

I am seeking funds to allow me to get a motorized wheelchair, equipment such as computer with voice activation  so I can communicate and write stories and plays. Educational classes that might allow me to interact and stay in touch with people in my past, and other things that might come up that can help me expand my small world.
