Medical Expenses

Craig was in a vehicle wreck Monday March 4th 2019.  He was not able to feel his arms and hands so they did cat scans and MRIs and found out he needed surgery on his neck as he had spinal injury.  They scheduled his surgery Tuesday March 5th.  I'm going to post all the updates that I had thru out his journey as of now.  

Update: Dad’s out of surgery and the doc said it went good took some bone out and readjusted it and screwed it back in. He has a 3 month recovery. Hopefully will get to see him soon.

Update: Dad will not be going home for awhile. He is having less pain so that is a start. He has to go to Colorado or Nebraska to get therapy Wichita can not do what he needs. He will be in Wichita until one of them have an opening to take him. Please send as many prayers as you can to help him recover and come back home. 

Thank you all for calling, texting, visiting and messaging on dad and wishing him the best it is all helping! He had a rough day, hopefully that means good things to come! He’ll be going to Lincoln Nebraska probably the beginning of next week since they have no waiting time as of right now and then be there 6 to 12 weeks! Please keep prayers coming.

Dad stood today for a little bit and did a lot of therapy with his arms and hands. Was able to sit up more in the bed with less pain, little progress is the best. He seemed to be in good spirits tonight. Him and mom where joking back and forth and of course he was joking with the nurses and they were giving it right back to him. Thank you all again for everybody praying for us and visiting.

Dad had a rough night and day but hoping to get everything under control. He needs all the prayers to help him get strength to start moving more. ❤️❤️

Prayers are helping!!!! Dad is much better today. He still has bloating but it is slowly going down. He is sitting up and got up and down with therapy today, eating and drinking a lot more. He isn’t cleared to go to Nebraska yet as his kidneys aren’t where they should be so hopefully in a day or so the kidneys will be where they should be and they can release him. Thank you all ❤️

Little progress everyday . Getting a lot of fluids and food in him and the numbers are getting around what they hope so hopefully tomorrow’s number will be on target and he can get released to go to Nebraska ❤️

❤️. Dad has had an awesome day today he stood up straight for a good two minutes and he has stepped forward and sideways and he sat in his chair for lunch. They have released him to go to Lincoln Nebraska tomorrow morning. Thank you all so much for the prayers and the thoughts for him we love you all.

As of Today March 14th, he is on his way to Madonna's in Lincoln Nebraska to start his rehab for a 6-12 week journey.
