Hello, My name is Roy Collins, and I am cutting off my dreads of 13 years (which is a big deal for me).

I wish to raise some money in memory of my good friend Dan Collins who passed away 12 months ago on the 2nd of October 2021 from MS. For those that knew Dan, I think you will all agree that he was a 'Gentleman' in every sense of the word. I would like to donate half the funds to MS Ireland so they can assist those suffering from MS in memory of Dan.

I would like to donate the 2nd half of the funds to Tony Bruder, my 1st cousin, who became a paraplegic following an operation in 2008. His life drastically changed, and he has been a wheelchair user ever since. Tony is looking for funding for a motorised paragolfer chair which lifts him into a standing position so he can swing a golf club. The paragolfer chair cost €22k. Golf is Tony's only outlet in terms of socialising and exercising, which is of utmost importance for his physical and mental health
