Phil’s Recovery Fund

Phil Macomber was badly injured as a result of the devastating fire at Mattapoisett Boat Yard. Phil has been part of the MBY family for nearly 20 years. He is currently hospitalized for burns and a shattered femur and has a long road to recovery. Please consider donating to Phil’s recovery as there are sure to be many unknown expenses over the next 6 months to a year that would not be covered by insurance. We thank you all in advance and our hearts are with Phil’s family at this time.

My name is Sarah Kaiser Parker and I am daughter of David Kaiser and sister of Ned Kaiser who both own and operate the Mattapoisett Boat Yard. I have seen first hand how much they treat each and every employee as family and they are absolutely heart broken that one of their employees has been injured in this incident. I have created this on their behalf and have spoken with members of Phil’s family as well. 100% of these proceeds will be going to Phil to help with medical bills and any other expenses. We are so overwhelmed and speechless with how much has already been donated and we wish we could thank each and every person individually. We are so fortunate to live in a community that has this much love and support. We’re keeping Phil and his family in our prayers and thank you all again for all of your help.
