Hi there, firstly I want to say thank you for going as far as clicking the link, we appreciate your support. I'm Maddy, my partner Connor & our two daughters have spent the last 6 months travelling Tasmania in our caravan. On the 21st of June I received a phone call that destroyed me, our home along with everything that we owned had burnt to the ground. Our kids clothes, their toys, medications, groceries, everything except the clothes we are wearing is gone, in an instant. The cause of the fire has been determined as the diesel heater and the caravan was insured but we expect it to take at least 6-8 weeks for our insurance to be paid out, we are so grateful to be alive and know that it could have been so much worse if it had of happened whilst we were inside asleep. Now we are trying to navigate life with no home and no belongings, we will get back on our feet eventually but it is going to take some time . We have already been inundated with love and kind messages from this incredible community which we are so appreciative for but we would also greatly appreciate any donations.
