Appropriate Engineering in Bolivia

I'm Robert Lyle, and I would like financial help to go to Bolivia this August with Auburn's Engineering Department, in an attempt to retrofit houses with technology I've designed and teach the community about what all of my team's designs can do for them.
Every August a very select group from the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering goes to the small community of Quesimpuco, Bolivia to implement the projects they have been working on all year.
I spent this past year developing a method of retrofitting houses with tin roofs made from coke cans, putting windows created from 2 liter bottles into walls, updating a dated shower design, and attempting to build a wind turbine exclusively with materials available in third world countries.
I will spend a week with the locals taking a strenuous hike at over 13,000 feet above sea level to get there, and once there will have to work even harder to build what I want. This is not a small act of kindness, it is a major change to improve the quality of life for the people of Quesimpuco, Bolivia. Through my team's work they will have some of the most essential things we take for granted, such as plentiful drinking water and consistent power supply Currently their only power supply is very outdated, and seldomly has any type of grounding to it, much less consistency in the flow of electricity. I have helped as much as I can from the United States, but until I arrive there, I feel like I will be limited, so I need to go on this trip.
