Saving Milli Grace

This beautiful little lady has had a rough beginning to her life. At the young age of 10 weeks old Milli was removed from her parents care because of 36+ fractures, healing bones, a small brain bleed, spiral fracture of her femur and bruising on her face. During her time in medical foster care she was only able to be held for 15 mins a day until she was healed. She spent most of that time crying and when picked up crying from the pain of her own body. I will not go into biological parents information and details but these injuries were reported as NON-accidental. We have had the privilege of caring, loving, protecting and providing for Milli for almost 3 years. Due to her injuries she did have some delays that Dexter, my boys and myself helped her overcome. Today she’s a beautiful, SMART, loving, driven, funny, satisfied little lady with no obvious signs of effects from the horrific trauma she encountered. She is VERY close with her foster brothers, her foster cousins, foster family who have from day one had one job- love her like your own, care for her like she’s always been ours. Our dream now is to make that possible. Milli is 3 1/2 years old. She is very happy, healthy, LOVED BY SO MANY, protected by many. She runs, plays, DANCES, and deserves to be a permanent part of our family. We are a single income family currently. I chose to stay home and raise our family while my husband works full time. I am currently enrolled in college full time pursing my dream to be a midwife. We have three children to provide a stable, loving, secure home for. We started the adoption process in January of this year, we had prepared by saving as much as we could because we knew legal fees would be big however that money has ran out so please we asking for your help. Help stop the acceptance of child abuse. Help encourage adoption and the idea that together makes life beautiful. She is our daughter and we will never stop fighting for her. She deserves to grow up and dance, sing, play sports and live in the only home she remembers and feels safest at for all her days to come.
