Masks for Class

Contribute Now, Give Teachers a Helping Hand, If Not Needed Beyond Summer 2021, We Will Return It To You!!!

Hello, I am Malcolm, an American businessman in the Mediterranean. Girne Dominici Templarii Navitas is registered and domiciled on the island of Cyprus. Back home my fellow countrymen are suffering. I will not get into all the idiosyncrasies why, because I could be writing for a while. Our government is embarked upon a campaign to open schools.  As a retired teacher with more than two decades of education under my belt, I can tell you stories that would make you cry. I can tell you that all too often students are ill prepared for class daily, for a myriad of reasons in which they have no control, Afterall they are children. My area of specialty was working with the visually impaired. Being blind myself I am uniquely qualified to understand the specific needs of visually impaired students.

The government’s directives far exceed the ability of most school districts to respond. First and foremost, most schools struggle to compile funding and last year’s funding budgets did not include provisions for protective measures for students. Secondly and likely more problematic, most schools lack the tools and connections to engaged in the business of international trade and import.

While I am not in the classroom, I refuse to sit on the sideline and do nothing. I want to diversify I want to take my current skills of import and export and strategic planning. I want to leverage my new network of suppliers and manufacturers to acquire supplies of acceptable masks, shields, and disinfecting supplies to distribute to local schools and school districts. The expectation is to lighten the burden of reacting to the governments demand to open their doors amid a pandemic.

My goal is to initially raise 400,000 usd.

This sum will allow me to contract for a continued supply of the personal protective materials listed above. Establishing control of a of a portion of a monthly production quota gives the recipients access to supplies while reducing the need to compete with other institutions and school districts for the same quota at most certainly a higher price point.

What does 400,000 dollars get us? We establish access to and control of the available production of 300,000 masks. That is 300,000 masks every month, for every month the central contract is in place. In addition we will beable to purchare and supply as many as 60,000 face shields, every month.

These materials will be flown in monthly to be distributed to the particular schools in need. The process will repeat monthly until the school year ends, Fall of 2021. At which time we will evaluate the necessity to continue into the next school year. If the materials are no longer needed a release of the financial document will be secured. The funds that underwrote the document will be refunded back to you. At that time, if you do not wish your funds returned to you, you may opt to have them distributed as a donation. The donation pool will be divided equally between the schools we assisted and turned over to them to dispose as their needs dictate.

Let us examine this a bit deeper. Recently reported by Kate Snow school district in Dallas posted a plan of temp checks, 3 masks, 1 face shields and plastic desk top dividers. What the plan did not specify was the length of time for this logistics. Is this logistic plan mentioning a daily, weekly, or monthly requirement? For example, if a school of 1,000 students requires a monthly resupply that becomes 9,000 masks, 1,000 face shields and the Dallas ISD contain 40 high schools. Now you can see the enormity of the task, yet we cannot stand by and do nothing. My project is a start, a template of what can be expanded or replicated in other locations.

The distribution to the schools we support is not a donation, we are collaborating to assemble a credit facility to allow these schools to access a predetermined quantity of PPE supplies at the best possible market price available, consistently on time without unexpected impact of market fluctuations brought about by ever changing global conditions while and at the same time afford them some time to coordinate their finances to embrace the new demands upon their operational budget.

Your contributions will allow schools can focus on the reopening process and refinement of those procedures. The recipient schools or districts can clear balance sheets in 30 to 90 days. Returns derived from our rotations will be rolled over into our principle balances to secure larger quantities of supplies as needed. Since this is not being manages as a donation to the schools we will assist, the funds you contribute will be Refunded back to you and  shall be returned at the end of the demand of need or summer 2021 unless you disginate othewise.

I anticipate the need for my assistance will be needed at least the next nine months. My hope is the government will have the coronavirus response coordianted to a point of being able to support the need of such directives involving Teachers and School Children. That is one full school year. At the end of that school year the process of returning all funds acquired will begin. Any profit developed from the monthly rotating sales will be divided (proportionally) between those schools who chose to participate, and support school children stuck between the proverbial rock and a hard place.
