Hurricane Destroyed Teachers' Home

By now, hurricane Florence has had a terrible impact on so many and my heart goes out to them all.  I wanted to mention some very special people who could really use your help in this time of need.

Jim and Tricia Lancaster are middle school teachers at Trask Middle School in Wilmington, NC.  On Saturday, they had over two feet of water inside their home that they’ve lived in for over 20 years. The damages are extensive and the cleanup and rebuilding process is going to be an arduous and expensive process.

Jim and Tricia are truly special people. The Lancasters have helped people their whole
lives—they’ve taken in foster children in need, rescued and fostered animals, you name it. They extend a warm welcome and a loving embrace to anyone or anything needing help. They’ve sacrificed a lot to be amazing parents to two incredible children (and me —the fiancée of their son). Now they need a helping hand.
