#Team Hadley #Kicking Hepatoblastoma

Donation protected
As a friend of Hadley's mother my aunt and I would love to share her story and to start a fund to help with their medical expenses.

On February 3rd Lindsay and William Davis received news that no parent ever wants to hear. "Hadley has cancer".

Hadley was admitted into the hospital that night. On February 5th Hadley had her port and biopsy surgery. Results showed that Hadley has stage 4 hepatoblastoma. The tumor is on the right side of her liver and is touching the main blood vessel of the liver. The tumor is very large, it starts at her rib cage and goes to her pelvis as well. In addition she also has spots in her lungs as a result of the cancer spreading.

Lindsay and William along with their doctor have decided to go with a trial drug along with standard chemotherapy. The treatment will begin with two rounds of the trial drug and six rounds of standard chemotherapy. If the first two rounds of the trial drug are successful then they will finish up with an additional two rounds at the end of the standard chemotherapy. About halfway through chemotherapy they will remove the tumor if it has shrunk enough. The goal is for the tumor to shrink away from the major blood vessel in the liver, if it doesn't then Hadley will need a liver transplant. In order for that to happen the spots in her lungs need to be gone.

If you feel led to help out financially please do  but most importantly please keep Hadley, Lindsay, William and Harrison in your thoughts and prayers.
