BECAUSE WE LOVE YOU

Anyone who knows Jody Wheeler knows him to be a hard worker and tough as nails.  On Thursday, August 23rd Jody was at work cutting trees when his line broke and he fell 30 feet landing on his feet then falling to his back.  He has sustained severe injuries to both ankles and to his lower legs in addition to having a broken vertebra.  He has had one surgery to date but has been told that several surgeries will be required.  The doctors have told Jody that it will be approximately 6 months before he can put any weight at all on either leg.

Jody is engaged to be married to Courtney Glaze on September 21, 2018.  Much against Jody's wishes they have decided to postpone their wedding for now until Jody can get around better.

Many people have asked what they can do to help Jody and Courtney during this time.  We know that if anyone can handle such as this it's Jody.   But we also know that he is going to need our help.  We have created this account in hopes that the only worry Jody and Courtney will have during Jody's recovery is to see that he gets better as fast as possible. It is unknow at this time what kind of care Jody will need and for how long.  Courtney will have to go back to work at some point but someone will need to be with Jody. 

Any amount you can contribute will be greatly appreciated and spent solely to meet their financial needs while Jody is out of work.  In addition to all of this we ask that you remember Jody and his entire family in your prayers each day. Thank you very much for your help!
