Shonas Battle

Unfortunately since the birth of my son I have been slightly unwell, a week ago I was diagnosed with Primary Mediastinal Large Cell B Cell Lymphoma. Which is a rarer type of Lymphoma Cancer, which affects my immune system. 

 I am going be going through aggressive chemotherapy followed by radiotherapy to try and treat this. 

 Over the next week I will be starting all my treatment, which may last up to 12 months or more. Hopefully less.

 Everyone has been offering to help, originally my idea was to raise as much money as possible for MacMillan Cancer Support who will support me and have previously supported my late father with palliative care and also helped my mother go through her treatment on two previous occasions.

 As my statuary maternity pay will end in the middle of June, I will be moving onto statuary sick pay and due to this my friends have convinced me, to initially raise money to make this situation as comfortable and easy for me and my family. Any funds received will help me with;

- Real Hair Wig
- Emergency Transport/Money
- Emergency Day Care for Son
- Family gets together/day out


Any extra funds will be passed on to MacMillan, without their support the level of care and support my family has received over the years wouldn’t have been there.
