Payton's Road to Recovery

On February 8th 2015, Payton May was involved in an ATV accident.  She was life flighted to Shands in order to save her arm.  Her right arm was severly damaged in the accident.  After an 8 to 10 hour surgery...Payton's bones in her arms were set in place with a plate and screws. (She lost a piece of her arm bone in the accident.)  The surgeons had to take an artery from her leg to restore blood flow to her hand. If this did not work they were going have to amptuate.  Praise God!!! The surgery was a sucess she gained blood flow in her hand. She has lost some of the muscle in her arm which would have allowed her to grasp objects or to hold onto things.  Now she will have to undergo months possibly years of thearpy to relearn everything with her left hand.  Payton will still have several more surgeries over the next few days and weeks to  re-establish the nerves and tissues in her arm. She will also undergo skin grafting surgeries as well.  Payton is able to move 3 of her fingers 36 hours after her first surgery!  SUCESS! Payton is a testimony of the Power of Prayer!  On behalf of her family, I have set up this page to help offset the cost of any medical bills that will come of this and any fuel costs that will be a burden to her family.  These funds will be strickly used for any bills, food, and gas that this family will need over the next several weeks/months that lie ahead.
