Nelson Bechtold's dream

Donation protected
Let me introduce you to Nelson Bechtold. Nelson is my father in law, and the pastor of a small church in Bainbridge, PA. He is a loving husband, the father of two children and has been blessed with three grandchildren. This man has devoted his life to one thing, spreading God's love to everyone he meets. He does this with his gentle demenor and loving words. For as long as I have known Nelson, he has never done much for himself. He has always used his resources to help others.
Just over five years ago Nelson was faced with the battle of his life after being diagnosed with multiple myeloma (cancer of the blood plasma). When faced with an uncertian future, and a long bumpy road to recovery, he never lost hope. Through prayers and God's mercy he was able to fight and put the cancer into 100% remission. A few months ago at one of his checkups, the doctor was a bit concerned about some of the levels in his blood. It seems that the cancer is trying to take ahold of his body again. He isn't letting it get to him though. He continues to be an uplifting pilar in the community.
Nelson is an avid deer hunter and enjoys being in God's woods. He has enjoyed much sucess as a deer hunter and has always put filling the freezer ahead of hanging big buck on the wall. There is one thing he has always had on his wish list. He has always wanted to harvest an elk. As the years go by, I think he has lost hope of being able to acomplish this dream. In March he will be celebrating his 65th birthday. We would love to be able to give him the gift of a dream.
We are hoping to raise enough money to be able to take him on a guided elk hunt right here in Northern PA. With him aging, and not getting around as good as he used to,this seems to be the best option.
If you are reading this and know Nelson on a personal level, I'm sure you will agree with my first paragraph. If you can afford to give any amount to help us make this dream a reality it would be great! I want you to know that Nelson, and all of his family will be forever grateful. If you can't afford to give anything monetarily, I would just ask that you would take a moment to lift Nelson up in prayer.
On behalf of all of Nelson's family, I thank you for your time.
