Ryan Smith's Medical Expenses

As most of you know, a group of us recently moved to Hawaii about a month ago. Since then, we have all enjoyed exploring the island and going on lots of amazing adventures. The most recent adventure was a kayaking trip out to the Mokulua Islands where things took an abrupt turn when our dear friend and roommate Ryan fell roughly 30 feet from a cliff.
Luckily, Ryan had on a backpack which happened to save his life by cushioning his upper body as he hit the sharp lava rock below. He is very lucky to have escaped without any head or spinal injuries but has broken quite a few bones including his left wrist, elbow, pelvis, foot and right heel in addition to having numerous deep lacerations on both feet which required many stitches.
Unfortunately, Ryan was in the proccess of beginning a new job here and is without medical insurance or income at this time since he will be unable to walk for around 6 weeks at minimum. Any donations are truly appreciated as Ryan will have quite a few hefty medical bills from emergency care, a week of inpatient care, along with many doctor and rehabilitation appointments to follow. In addition, he will need several expensive peices of medical equipment once he is allowed to come home.
