Lake Zurich Family Martial Arts wants to take this opportunity to let you know how thankful we are for having continued support from our families & community through this Covid19 pandemic.  As we all know, many small businesses have been struggling to survive and LZFMA is reaching out to its community for a helping hand.  We are humbled as many famlies, past & present, have asked what they can do to support us through this difficult time.  Knowing that many of our family supporters have so much going on in thier own lives, we are so grateful that they have time to think of us as well.  This really demonstrates the bond that we have with all the families in our community and is also the reason why we have been around for 25+ years.  Together we have done so much - fed the community, donated blood to save many lives, shared our skills by performing all across our community, completed many women’s self defense courses at our studio and off site within the community, hosted self defense training for local pre-schools, girl & boy scout troops, donated to all the local fundraisers, provided childcare & event help for local schools,  coordinated yearly school supply drives, collected multiple loads of toys for Toys For Tots, raised funds to provide coats to kids at local churches, volunteered for local races... and countless other amazing services for our people & the amazing community in which we are blessed to reside. We are currently in need of some financial help due to the effects of COVID19 pandemic restrictions.  We are being heavily impacted by the aftermath of this first wave of Covid restrictions which caused us to completely close our doors for 3 entire months.  Since reopening in July, it has been a slow recovery to get back on our feet financially (slower than anticipated).  Our rent is significant (especially after our expansion in 2019).  We also feel strongly about keeping our instructors employed so they may continue to positively impact our students & families.  The set back has been serious and the deficit is compounding.  Without a boost, we could be making very difficult decsions regarding the future of the studio within a few short months. We are asking the community, families, and friends of families to please consider a donation to help us through these troubling times so that we may continue to contribute to our families and our community.    If you're unable to donate, please consider interacting with our social media.
