Lyons Softball Field - Camera Replacement

Sadly, we have to announce that during Friday night's thunderstorm, that loud boom in town was lighting that struck the field and either hit the backstop itself or one of the electrical wires / poles at Lyons. This traveled in the lines / ethernet cables and killed our camera system. When we arrived at the field on Saturday for an event, the Camera, network switch, and our modem were OFF. Power was active, but the devices would not power on and were dead. After bringing down a switch from home to attempt to re-supply power to the camera as anticipated it was dead. The switch did not detect the camera being plugged in. This Fundraiser is to raise funds to support buying a new camera and switch for the 2023 season at Lyons. Any donations are greatly appreciated.
