Lynne McCabe's Last Push to Health

Donation protected
In 2013, Lynne was incorrectly diagnosed with first psoriatic and then rheumatoid arthritis.   At the time she was 35 years old, recently graduated from a Masters program, and just returned to Houston.  Her doctors strongly advised aggressive treatment which included massive doses of steroids and an increasingly toxic load of medications.  By 2015 Lynne was in near constant full body pain, severely immunosuppressed, and using a cane or  wheel chair to get around. She was suffering from complications from the medications in nearly every system of her body, including her heart and lungs.  She was unable to work, unable to sleep through the night, unable to participate in her son's life or even be touched by those she loved.  Many of us thought she might die.

In December 2015 Lynne took her health into her own hands. She sought out help at the Goldberg clinic in Atlanta where they specialize in finding the causes of chronic illness.  They advised her to wean herself off of her many medications. This process took an agonizing 18 months. During that time, Lynne attended the Optimum Health Institute, where she adopted a plant-based diet and emerged last spring feeling so much better. She detoxed off the steroids, the nerve-inhibiting drugs, the chemotherapy treatments, and the biologic medications.  It felt like a miracle!

Last summer Lynne and Ruth celebrated their wedding and danced together without a cane or wheelchair in sight. Lynne, Gabriel and Ruth have been so grateful for her returned health.

However, the truth is that this family needs help to accomplish the final two steps of Lynne’s recovery. Lynne still has one remaining medication from which to detox.  Lynne has begun this process already, and it is absolutely no fun. Meanwhile, she has still  not received a proper diagnosis.  While she is looking and feeling much better, she is still living every day in tremendous pain. Her pain will only increase as she continues to come off her final medication.

In order to finish her detox and FINALLY get to the bottom of this horrible unexplained illness, Lynne needs to return to the Optimum Health Institute and the Goldberg Clinic.  We need your help to make this happen.  Both of these places are very reputable and have been instrumental in Lynne's healing process.  Without a doubt, these are the best next steps for Lynne.

Please support Lynne as she takes these final steps towards a diagnosis and treatment that will allow her to put this nightmare behind her.  If you know Lynne, you know she will pay your help forward as she redirects all her new energy back into the community.  It has been such a long and awful journey, and I know that Lynne, Gabe, and Ruth thank you for considering helping Lynne make it through the final push.
