Lynn Staples Needs Lung Transplant

Lynn is a 60 year old wife, sister, and aunt who urgently needs a lung transplant. She needs oxygen to manage the minimal activity that her body and low energy levels afford her each day. Lynn’s life depends on a lung transplant.
She was diagnosed with Stage 4 COPD 1-1/2 years ago. Lynn has tried dozens of treatments, equipment, medications, and to no avail. She is a candidate for a transplant and needs assistance to cover the costs.
Lynn’s doctors are respected and recognized experts. They recognize her as a candidate and have been dedicated to her treatment until a transplant becomes a true option. However, the costs for the transplant and post procedure care are costly.
Here’s something special about Lynn... As a caring wife, Lynn has cared for her husband through his difficult health trials. She gives of herself without complaining and is a role model and an encouraging force in so many peoples’ lives. Lynn helped to raise her niece and nephew, encouraging their continued education and career endeavors. She comforts women who have been through less than ideal situations, sharing her own survivor skills to fuel others.
This is a chance for Lynn, who gives so much, to finally receive!
Funds are needed hospital bills, lab work, anti -rejection and other medications, donor search fees, travel, food and lodging for patient and care-giver during relocation, follow-up care, and rehabilitation. Lynn is currently getting help from family. She is grateful. That support is not enough to meet the necessary costs.
Lynn’s Insurance will only cover the transplant operation. She has premiums, deductibles, co-pays and out-pocket fees to carry. Her treatment will also require treatment for12 weeks of 24-hour care after the surgery.
