Lynn Cooper z”l passed away August 14th and was laid to rest in New York on August 17th.
Much beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, girlfriend, and colleague. One of the wisest women we’ve ever known filled with a powerful combination of knowledge, compassion and acceptance. She never had a bad word to say about anyone — always embracing the good without an ounce of judgement.
Impeccably dressed with those beautiful long skirts matching boots and jean jackets--and a scarf for every outfit. She always had a graceful presence walking into a room and radiated with her warm smile. You could always count on her to show up for every celebration, community event, birthday, or funeral. She was loyal, a
tremendous confidant and completely trustworthy.
Her loving Denver based community is raising money to buy custom memorial benches so Gene, Emily, Jesse -- and all of us -- have a local place to connect with her love, spirit, wisdom and soul. We will work with Gene & the girls to find the “perfect spots’ and will have a special ‘unveiling’ when they are placed. We plan to place more than one so we can create gathering places.
