Lynette Mohry - Emergency Help

Donation protected
Tragedies occur, and although we do our best to avoid these life-altering events, tragedies destroy people's lives.  This is the story of Lynette Boyer-Mohry, someone whom the words "wonderful and loving person" seems to always be attached to conversations describing her.

On November 30th, 2017, while spending a RARE day off of work in order to clean up around the house and prepare for a rare holiday visit from her family (who would be traveling over 1,000 miles to spend the holidays with her for the first time in many years) Smoke alarms went off in her home.  When she stepped from the bathroom she quickly discovered that flames were bursting through her kitchen window from outside.  In a panic, she immediately called 911 and begged for Firefighters to be dispatched.  As she was on the telephone she frantically tried to locate her pets (which, to Lynette, were like children to her).  The smoke became intense, forcing her from the house. She was only able to find one of her pets.  Firefighters from the local Volunteer Fire Department finally arrived on sight and tried to minimize the spread of fire.  It was too late.  The home was a complete loss, and all of Lynette's personal possessions were also destroyed.
Even worse, three of Lynette's cats (Peaches, Shadow, and Baby) did not survive and died in the home from smoke inhalation.

As if this wasn't tragedy enough, here's the rest of the story:

Three (3) months ago Lynette was diagnosed with Aggressive Stage 3 Breast Cancer.  Within days of being diagnosed, she began intensive chemotherapy (Which is currently on-going) Her chemotherapy will continue through April 2018, upon conclusion of which she will need to have a double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery.  Her treatment has been extremely effective, not only because of the fantastic medical care she is receiving but also because of the STRENGTH TO SURVIVE that Lynette has always demonstrated.

Lynette is an extremely strong and courageous woman. She has worked hard her entire life, raising three children (all of whom went to college). She has never been in the slightest of trouble (with the exception of one speeding ticket for driving five miles per hour too fast).  She is a proud woman who has never asked for, nor accepted charity from anyone, despite the fact that she has (many times) given the shirt off her back to those who needed help.

Please help Lynette.  She is now in temporary housing at a hotel. All of her clothing and belongings are gone.  Her medical bills (even though she has medical insurance through her employer) are bankrupting her. We are hoping to raise enough funds to help her with her medical bills and to help her rent a new place to live, as well as purchase clothing and basic necessities. Every little bit will help.  Thank you, and God Bless.
