Lymphoma Treatment for Our Baby!

My name is Iverson but my family and friends call me Ivey. I am about 8 years old and have lived with my Mom and Dad for 7 years. My original family couldn't care for me so I was adopted when I was around a year old. I have had the best life growing up with a family that absolutely adores me. Besides my Mom and Dad, I have active Grandparents that spend time with me along with my younger brother (dog) and five cats. About a week ago I wasn't feeling well and after visiting my favorite veterinarian  he thought I had a bad tooth that needed to be removed. While he removed my bad tooth he sent off some samples from my swollen lymph nodes  to be tested. Turns out I have stage 4 lymphoma including my spleen, liver, and stomach. I don't feel sick yet and I am very confused why I need to start chemotherapy today. I do know I am not ready to leave my family! Please help me try to spend as much time as I possibly have with my family.
