Lyle Havens - Huntingtons Bed Need

Recently I helped move my brother Lyle 'Bob' Havens who is 46 and has Huntington's Chorea, into the rest home in Deer Lodge, Montana.
Huntington's is a muscle degenerative disease that causes involuntary muscle movements. To keep Lyle safe while he sleeps and prevent him from falling out of bed due to the extreme muscle movements, his mattress was placed on the floor of his room so that he would not fall out of the normal bed.
A special bed designed by Novacorr is made for those who are suffering from Huntington's. It allows the individual to sleep comfortably and by its design prevents the possibility of falling from the bed due to its padded side rails that will raise and lower, and would be raised while he is sleeping. However, this specialized bed is too expensive for the rest home facility to purchase. Lyle has no means to purchase this bed for himself and we are asking for your assistance in helping him reach his goal.

Lyle has a very positive attitude despite the devastation he is facing at this young of an age with this disease. I am hoping that we can raise the money for this bed as he deserves to be able to be comfortable under the circumstances. Thank you in advance for your kindness and thoughtfulness.
