Lydia's Butterfly Wishes

My mother, Lydia Williams, was diagnosed with Bile Duct Cancer - Intrahepatic Cholangiocarcinoma, a rare liver cancer in September 2013.

Since then her journey has been challenging and difficult. She has been a true warrior, fighting her way through each and every surgery, chemotherapy session, and radiation treatment. Throughout this journey her strength and kindness have remained unparalleled.

I am so heartbroken that my mother's battle with cancer has progressed to where she can no longer receive effective treatments. During the next few months I am committed to making as many memories as I can with my mother, and granting her lifetime dream of seeing Europe for her very soon 56th birthday in February.

Traveling the world has been a lifetime dream of hers and if anyone deserves a wish granted it is my beautiful, strong, courageous, loving mother and best friend, Lydia.

I am praying that she is strong enough and is with us long enough to take this trip, or perhaps under doctors orders a more suitable trip.

Any donations will be used to grant Lydia's wishes and to put my mom at ease for the rest of her days - making memories and enjoying new experiences.
