Lydia's Battle Against Leukemia

Donation protected
Lydia developed a rare form of leukemia at the age of 6, and she finally beat leukemia at the age of 9. During her yearly checkup, doctors have found that her leukemia has returned after being in remission for 4 years. Lydia was sent directly to bone marrow transplant protocol, which requires her to be at St. Jude in Memphis, 475 miles from her home, for the next 6-9 months. Lydia’s younger sister will undergo bone marrow donor protocol, which means she too will have to stay at St. Jude for at least a few weeks. St. Jude covers expenses for food and lodging for Lydia and one of her parents, and that will help tremendously; however, the cost for the other parent and Lydia’s siblings to visit her during her full-time stay at St. Jude will be overwhelming. This fund has been created in hopes of raising enough money to help the family cover expenses that will not be covered by St. Jude over the next 6-9 months. Thank you for any and all help received and anyone who has prayed and continues to pray for this young lady and her family.
