Roxy Martin's Faith in the Fight

 









Roxy is one of my oldest friends going back to our sophomore year at Glenn Hills High School in 1978.  In March 2014 Roxy made public her diagnosis of Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer.  She also had tumors in her liver.  Roxy and her husband, Hank, are now both on limited incomes receiving disability and social security.  While Roxy is battling cancer, Hank deals with major back issues.  They have raised 4 children, 2 of their daughters are in college, their son and youngest daughter still live at home.  Medical expenses have piled up as Roxy has completed Chemo round #32.   The tumors in her liver have disappeared, Praise God, and we are praying the same happens with the tumor in her pancreas.  While getting together with some old friends, we decided we wanted to do something to help our friend Roxy.  So from the hearts of Sharon, Colleen, Debra , Andrea and myself, we want to share Roxy's story.  She is one of the most compassionate, loving, giving and forgiving souls I have ever met and we are all so thankful we get to call her GIRLFRIEND!!!! Galations 2:20 "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.  The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me".  Roxy claims every day is a gift and she cherishes every moment!!   We love you Roxy and we pray this helps you and your family!!
