Cass's 10k run for Paddles

Hi I am Cassandra (or Aunty Cass!) and I am embarking on completing the Manchester 10k run in May, this may not sound like much but trust me for me this is a MASSIVE challenge- I hate running, am not very good at it and have so far found the training I have done a right mission.
However, I am doing this for a great reason- my 6 yr old nephew, Jack, has had cerebral palsy since he was a baby and my sister has struggled to find options for him to allow him to participate in sports without it being too difficult or him not getting the assistance he requires. She came across an amazing swimming club for children with disabilities.....Paddles Disability Swim Club and since he has been going it has done wonders for his confidence, it gives him the one on one assistance needed and he is absolutely loving it too.
They don't receive any funding and so I have made the decision to challenge myself to do this and raise money for this fantastic place which relies on donations to keep going and also heopfully what I raise can go to helping them become a registered charity.
I really hope you can support me and this superb cause, any amount no matter how much will really, really go a long way to helping, and to see someone I love benefit from this will just be brilliant and so appreciated.
I am no athlete, no runner and am finding this hard but it is nothing compared to Jack's (and every child in his position) daily struggles and challenges.
