Bethany's IPAI Trip to Germany!

Hi everyone! I am a senior at Southeastern Louisiana University majoring in vocal performance! My vocal teacher, Dr. Kristen Marchiafava, told me about an audition held at LSU last month. I sang two Art Songs for the judges and handed in my resume. I recently found out that I have been accepted into the International Performing Arts Institute 2015! This summer I will be studying opera in Kiefersfelden, Germany!!! IPAI's campus is nestled in the Bavarian Alps. The opera participants will work with current leaders in the Opera business. The students have the opportunity to work with International opera singers, Kirsten Chávez and Barbara Daniels. Mobile Opera and IPAI will present workshops and career development and life success coaching. Students have the opportunity to vocal coach with Ellen Rissinger of Semper Opera in Dresden. All participants receive two voice lessons, two vocal coachings per week, daily acting classes, dance classes, networking and much more. IPAI offers several performance opportunities, performances in Munich and other master classes. Students will also participate in the Next Steps Career Development Seminar in the last 4 days of the program. It is designed to focus on the next step needs of the individual artist. Singers work with staff and master artists to identify market career strengths. IPAI Next Steps Career Development Seminar is the first of its kind for professional summer training programs. This opportunity is a dream come true!! The tuition for the Opera program is $5325. I am so blessed to have this door open for me! Thank you all for your love and support!!
