LWREA Local Scholarship Fund

We need more teachers! The Leon*Wakulla Retired Educators Association is seeking funds to assist local students planning careers in the educational field. We provide scholarships for graduating high school seniors aspiring to major in education, students currently in a college of education program, returning graduates wishing to become certified in teaching and for classroom teachers seeking higher degrees and certifications.  All students residing in Leon or Wakulla counties in Florida are eligible to apply for scholarships.

LWREA appreciates your support in funding our scholarship program.  It has become increasingly difficult to conduct "in-person" fundraisers such as our annual Scholarship Spaghetti Dinner because of the Covid 19 restrictions.  Please help us encourage our local residents to enter the field of education by contributing.
