This is exactly what has happened for 8yr old Chelsea. One day she is dancing her heart away and tubing down the river with her family and friends, the next she is being diagnosed with a life threathening disease. Chelsea was recently told that she sufferd from Prolonged QT Interval Syndrome which unfortunately has no cure. The is an inherited condition where the heart muscle is unable to recharge as fast as the average person and can result in cardiac arrest. Chelsea has recently undergone surgery to have a device implanted which monitors her heart. This is something that no one ever expects to happen to them and for a 8 yr old this is unthinkable. Chelsea is no longer able to participate in the things that regular 8 yr old children so often take forgranted. Chelsea's condition means that she is required to carry with her an Automatic External Defibrillator machine. In order to alleviate some of the hospital expenses and cost of the machine we are asking for your help, any donations will help this family with the finacial burden that a diagnoses like this entails.
