Zomille McLeans's Leukemia Fund

Donation protected
Zomille (Molly) a recent high school graduate of James Kenan High School had just begun her first semester of college in August 2014 at Winston-Salem State University and was very excited about being a new college student. However, after only a few months she began to feel sick more often than usual and unfortunately it wasn't homesickness, she had been suffering from body aches, numbness, and shoulder pains. Sadly, after extensive testing and labs the results revealed a diagnosis of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), you can't imagine how devastating this news was for her and her family. Molly had been very active in high school as a cheerleader and basketball player. She was also very active in her church as a Christian mime performer and choir member, in addition to these activities, she was an AKA debutante, candidate for the Education Talent Search, a girl scout, and nominatee for the Governor's Page all while participating in various community activities. Among the many accolades, Molly continued to maintain her status as an honor roll student. Molly was admitted to Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina which is several hours from her home for an extensive stay that lasted from December 3, 2014 -January 12, 2015 for the initial phase of her treatments. Unfortunately, she will have to continue many hospital stays as part of her medical treatment plan. The McLean 's have had their hands full with unlimited medical testing, treatments, doctor's visits and hefty medical, travel, and lodging expenses and this is just the beginning. The medical expenses are starting to pile up and they are unaware of what the total cost will be or how long her treatments will last. Thankfully, as a loving family we have decided to set up this account to help alleviate any financial stress, so her parents can focus on Molly's treatment and healing. All donations will be used to cover all medical expenses not covered by insurance and to assist with daily driving, and lodgging expenses. Please keep Molly, her parents (Corey and Cokessie) and her two younger sisters (Nae Nae and Cori) in your prayers. We thank you in advance and sincerely appreciate your support, thoughts, prayers and generous donations.
