Lusinda Marinaro's Medical Expenses

As some of you know my mom, Lusinda Marinaro was diagnosed with Breast Cancer April of 2017. As hard as this news was to process, we started the journey to recovery shortly after. She had surgery April 7, 2017 and all went well. Doctors told us they removed more tissue than they would have liked, but they were able to remove all of the cancer. Next step was radiation. Luckily, chemo was not needed for a full recovery at this time. Two weeks later she went for a check up. Doctors informed us that the cancer was now invasive cancer and a triple negative. Triple negative is the worst form of breast cancer, is most aggressive and has the highest rate of spreading. It wasnt until then we were preparing for Mom to receive both chemotherapy and radiation. The 3 kinds of chemo regimen is called "RED DEVIL"..due to the horrible side effects that these treatment give. We are 3 months in and have knocked out 5 rounds of chemo but 3 still stand along with the long weeks of radiation that have yet too come. Mom is responding well to treatment but there are many side effects that slow her down some. Recently, she has been suffering with blisters and swelling on both feet. We are currently in search for the perfect shoe that's not too tight but dressy enough for work attire. With that being said, all the medical attention that's needed during this journey has caused major stress on my family. I struggle daily to go to college (LSU), work 3 jobs to pay my way through school, and travel from Baton Rouge to New Orleans to try and help my Mom as much as possible on this journey. But I can only help out my family so much. For that, I ask that you please pray for peace, comfort and safe travels for myslef as well. 

My Mom is a fighter and still trying to work, but it gets harder and harder each day, as the side effects of chemo are starting to take a toll on her. She has insurance, but it doesn't cover all the expenses involved with the chemo and radiation my mom has to take for this very aggressive form of cancer. The expenses are starting to weigh heavily on my family and the last thing Mom should have to worry about is the medical bills that continue to come in! I am asking for any family and friends that would like to help my Mom to please donate or simply add her to your prayer list. Any amount you can donate would be greatly appreciated, and will be used to continue this expensive medical journey. No one likes to get that call about a cancer diagnosis, but to hear that it involved my Mom was devastating. She is my everything and any help you can give would be a blessing.
