Lung Surgery for Janine

For 5 years janine has been suffering from a recurrent pneumothorax also known as a “lung collapse”. This condition involves air being trapped in the chest cavity , causing the lung to deflate rapidly. Unfortunately, doctors have been unable to provide any answers as to why Janine has battled so many frequent collapses. This condition is extremely life threatening and has caused many ongoing health issues for her physically and mentally. Despite countless trips to the ER, hospital stays, respiratory therapy, chest tubes and second opinions ; she now needs a very rare and invasive surgery to hopefully prevent any reoccurrences . This surgery is known to be very painful and requires a long healing time post-operatively. Janine will have to spend many weeks in the hospital, and over a months time out of work. Due to the extensive nature , she will need help with medical bills and her daily finances/surgery/ bills. We love Janine so much and do not want to see her struggle with this any longer. She means the world to us and we feel her pain. She is one of the most kind, warmhearted, loving, and amazing people on this earth and we need to help her! Thank you so much !
