Help us in supporting Katie, a teacher at Bowie High School who has been battling complications from Flu A that have been life-threatening. She was in ICU and spent a total of 41 days in the hospital dealing with many setback and complications with her lungs. This has caused her to be out of work for an extended period of time and will need a long recovery period. She will be at a rehab hospital to gain her strength back and start the recovery process.

She has always maintained a positive outlook which is evident in her motto "I can do hard things". She is focusing on her return to the classroom to teach and spend time with her horses. She has been in and out of the hospital and now needs to go to the #1 pulmonary hospital in the country to make a plan for her long term recovery and treatment. We all know how bills pile up, and together we can show Katie we are here to help.
