Lunch to the Rescue (Kirkland)

Donation protected
My family lives in Kirkland, WA, right down the street from Evergreen Hospital. My chef husband, Dave, took a back seat at his restaurant to allow the hourly workers to continue working for much needed paychecks. He is learning a “new normal” of navigating and managing our twin 6 year old’s online classes, cooking for our family, and keeping us all sane while I also work full-time from home. Since this pandemic began to unfold in our backyard, we’ve wanted to do something for our community, and especially the overtaxed and dedicated healthcare workers.

To make use of his talents (and commercial food certifications!), he will be safely cooking and donating homemade/chef made lunches for Evergreen Hospital to try to help keep their spirits up during these challenging times. These funds will be used for purchasing the food and packaging, and he will donate his time and talent to cook as much food as he can, and for as long as the funds come in. Thank you in advance for your support, and for helping us help our community!

Sincerely,
The Holthus Family
(Dave, Laura, Adelyn and Clara)
