Gift Cards for Frontline Heroes

In the early days of this horrible pandemic, we were blessed to see many examples of people helping people, especially the healthcare workers providing care.  Now as the pandemic surges beyond what we would have thought possible, it seems the signs and attitude of "we are all in this together" has diminished greatly. 

We had originally planned to deliver lunch in the next few weeks to Saint Vincent and UPMC Hamot in support of hospital personnel, Covid unit nurses and those supporting them, and the Housekeeping staff  for their tireless work in keeping the health centers clean at their own risk.  In addition, we wanted to recognize the technologists at Associated Clinical Laboratory for running the hundreds of tests they receive each day.   

After consultation with representatives from these health centers, we were advised to give gift cards that can be distributed to staff, in a manner to be decided by the health centers. 

Please help us support them, surprise them and give them a bright spot in some very dark days.  We will purchase cards from local businesses  to support them as well, and then deliver them within the next few weeks.  Thank you for helping us help those who are truly heroes every day as they go about providing the care and service to protect those that need it the most.
