Our names are Yvette and Ethan, and we need help raising money for our new puppy's hip surgery. We recently adopted her from a shelter on November 12th, 2024. I noticed her leg, and sometimes she wouldn’t put weight on it. I called the shelter to bring her in for them to X-ray, and they told me she has a broken hip bone. But they will not help because it was more than 10 days after we adopted her. We have brought her to her primary vet and had to pay for more X-rays, and both vets I have talked to recommend we take her to UC Davis for a full hip replacement for her best chance of full mobility for her future.

A full hip replacement could be up to $10,000. We would really appreciate some help with this unexpected medical procedure.
