Luna Petunia Recovery Fund

Hi Friends. As many of you know I am Cameron.
Some of you know me very well, some of you maybe not so much,
As probably most if not all of you know I have a dog named Luna.
As all of you know, Luna means more to me than I could ever sum up in a paragraph...a book or a billion books.
We have traveled the world together and nursed each other back to health from many things, both physical and emotional.
When Luna was a pup, she was diagnosed with a fairly severe Pancreas disorder called Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency(EPI). A lifelong disease needing constant medication to keep her healthy.
Unfortunately for me I hadn't heard about pet insurance before her diagnosis but after finding out how much it could have helped I bought her insurance immediately afterwards.
Earlier in the month Luna was rushed to the vet hospital with what looked like some kind of poisoning.
She underwent a barrage of tests and in the end we left  together with a 1400$ bill and no answer as to what happened.
So yay Pet insurance....No not yay. As they could not definitively say what had caused it they lumped it under  "gastro" condition which yes of course was the wording on her exemption. So no insurance help.
2 days later after a very scary recovery from the suspected poisoning she tore her ACL...
Without corrective surgery there is a high possibility that Luna will be left partially lame, meaning she may not run again. With it, she will have a painful and long rehab and physio regiment for the next 6 weeks but there is a very high success rate for getting 100% mobility back.
The Surgery is 5500$ and the rehab costs are 2500$. Our insurance covers 2500$ per injury leaving us a bill of 5500$.
For any of you that know Luna, She is the biggest sweetheart of a dog you could ever meet. She is gentle and intuitive and has on more than one occasion been the source of comfort and love for many people. The happiest she can be is running in the forest.
Due to the fact me and Mareike just had a little baby girl a month ago this has been a very difficult time for all of us.
I would never be able to express my thanks for any help towards this cause so I will simply say thank you but know that you are helping to mend a piece of my heart along with Luna's leg
All Donations will go towards Luna's recovery
