Luna had a stroke at birth which causes her body to be weak on the right side.
The following is her medical diagnosis :
Hemiplegic Cerebral Palsy
Global Developmental Delay
Speech Delay
Currently Luna’s right knee is beginning to bow due to hip weakness. Luna receives therapies multiple times a week. We feel a service dog will help in assisting her and give her an added level of safety for her mobility.
Luna's dog will be trained through Pawsibilities Unleashed , based out of Frankfort, KY .
This is their main mission.
"Our primary mission is to provide Service Dogs and service dog training to persons with disabilities to help improve their quality of life and help them lead a more independent and productive life using positive training methods."
