Lumea Howard and family

Many of you no doubt have heard of the recent difficulties facing our Chief Resident of Internal Medicine at IMMC, Dr. Lumea Howard and her family. While pregnant with her 4th child, she was diagnosed with lymphoma in September. Lumea underwent induced labor in late September, with the happy arrival of her son Gus Howard. Shortly thereafter , she began chemotherapy for treatment of her lymphoma. It has undoubtedly been a difficult time for the Howard family. Many of you have generously assisted with providing meals for her, her husband Rob, and their four children during this time, and your efforts are greatly appreciated.

I know that there are others of us that would like to help the Howard family out in other ways. To that end, we have set up this GoFundMe page to aid Lumea and her family in defraying the cost of her medical bills. Any financial assistance would be greatly appreciated by her and her family!
